Coffee Morning raises £950 for Hospice

The annual coffee morning in Crossmaglen Community Centre which took place just before Christmas raised £950 for the Southern Area Hospice.

It was hosted by local Sinn Féin members.

Speaking at the cheque presentation to Gerry Doherty, a Hospice Volunteer, Councillor Terry thanked all who had helped make the Coffee morning such a success.

 

 

“Míle buíochas to everyone who endeavoured to ensure that our annual Charity Coffee Morning was a great success,” he stated.

“The annual event was initiated by our friend and former MLA Megan Fearon and the monies raised for the Hospice was a total of £950.

 

 

“Southern Area Hospice Services relies heavily on the generosity of people and the support of their volunteers.

“The Hospice, its services, staff and volunteers have touched the lives of many within our community and we are eternally grateful for their care and commitment,” he added.
