Cancer Focus NI call for volunteers
Cancer Focus Northern Ireland is calling for your help volunteering at the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon on Sunday 22 September.
Join team Cancer Focus NI’s cheer squad or water station on the Albertbridge Road, Belfast, as 5,000 energetic runners take to the streets to take part in Northern Ireland’s largest half marathon event.

Volunteer Coordinator at Cancer Focus NI Jade Knowles said, “If you are available between 8am to 10am on Sunday 22 September why not come along and join in the festivities.
“Cancer Focus NI is celebrating its 50th birthday this year, so there will be a fantastic fun party atmosphere.
“By cheering or manning our water station you can really help our runners get over the finish line as they raise funds for local patients and their families living with cancer.
She added, “We’d really appreciate your help.”
Cancer Focus NI has been caring for local cancer patients and their families for 50 years and also provides a wide range of cancer prevention services, funds research and advocates for better health policy.
