Barcroft Street resurface works “to be completed”

Newry Councillor Liz Kimmins has said confirmation from the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) that the resurfacing of 4th Street in Barcroft will be completed by the end of this financial year is welcome news for local residents, pedestrians and motorists.

The Sinn Féin Councillor said, “This road surface was in a terrible state and its condition was causing huge frustration to local residents.

 

 

“We are delighted that our concerns have been responded to and it will be resurfaced.”

 

 

The local representative added, “DfI Road Service has also confirmed with me that Clontigora Hill and Cottage Road In Killean will also be resurfaced.
