Still time for NI students to apply for a room in Queen’s Accommodation
With the first round of allocations for Northern Ireland students now complete at Queen’s Accommodation, local Queen’s students still have time to secure a room in the most sought-after student accommodation in the country.
Elms BT1, Elms BT2, Elms BT9 and Queen’s Houses can offer you the all-important space to live and enjoy student life to the full.
Queen’s currently has a total of 3,484 places in their student accommodation, which means you can take advantage of the most affordable, purpose-built student accommodation in the city.
The first round of allocations for Northern Ireland students who applied by 1 August 2018 are now complete and these students will receive offers next week.
And in news that will delight many local students who have just received their A Level results, Queen’s Accommodation has confirmed that Northern Ireland students can still apply for accommodation during the second round of allocations.
Sinead Magennis, Accommodation Manager at Queen’s Accommodation, told Newry Times, “We strongly encourage Northern Ireland students to apply for a room as soon as possible on our website.
“This is a really exciting year for us as we open two brand new city centre locations – Elms BT1 and Elms BT2 – and it’s a great opportunity for students who have just received their A Level results to live somewhere amazing.
She added, “Students living at Queen’s Accommodation enjoy an incredible package: Free Off Peak Membership of Queen’s Sport, 350 Residential Life events, free high-speed Wi-Fi, all-inclusive fees like gas and electricity as well as a 24/7 Reception and full maintenance support 7 days a week.”
