Finalists for The 3rd annual Food Awards Northern Ireland 2018 have been announced after nominations poured in from across the country.

Bravo Live Cuisine, Newry has been shortlisted in the Best Buffet Restaurant category and will find out if they will be named winner at the glamorous awards ceremony at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast.

A delighted Ivan Lin, Owner of Bravo Live Cuisine, told Newry Times, “We are extremely delighted to be shortlisted in the Best Buffet Restaurant category at the Northern Ireland Food Awards 2018.

“We pride ourselves on customer service and great value for money so to hear that we were shortlisted because the public voted for us is truly humbling. We would like to thank all of our customers who have supported us since we opened in Newry, less than 2 years ago!

“It’s been a very enjoyable experience to serve the people of Newry and Mourne and also those as far away as Dublin who choose to travel to Bravo for a meal. We hope to be serving you all for many years to come,” he added.

The lavish, black-tie awards ceremony is due to be held on 4 June at The Crowne Plaza Hotel Belfast which will include a three-course meal and entertainment and promises to be the biggest night in the food calendar.

The awards aim to recognise and reward the best of the Food industry. From those who produce the ingredients, to those who serve it including restaurants, takeaways, hotels, cafés and bistros amongst others.

Victoria Poinsot, Campaign Manager for Creative Oceanic, the events and marketing agency behind the awards, said, “We are delighted to organize the 3rd edition of the Food Awards Northern Ireland. The response from the public has been incredible and we are pleased to see the involvement from the finalists during the campaign.

She added, “We look forward to welcoming all the guests and celebrating the best in the food industry. We would like to wish all the finalists the best of the luck.”

The Food Awards Northern Ireland will also launch Northern Ireland Restaurant Week 2018 from the 4th – 10th June 2018.

Northern Ireland Restaurant Week is a social media campaign, designed to help raise awareness for businesses by running different activities each day of the week.
