A-level success for Our Lady’s Grammar School, Newry
Our Lady’s Grammar School students are celebrating after a very successful year, with A-level students achieving superb results.
Speaking to Newry Times, Mrs Fiona McAlinden, Principal, expressed her congratulations. ‘‘I am delighted by the girls’ success.
“These excellent results reward hard work and dedication and will enable our students to progress along many varied career paths.
She continued, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank our teachers for their unwavering commitment to the holistic development of the students and our parents for their support.
“In addition to being successful academically, the students have generously contributed to their local communities and to school life through voluntary and charitable work and I wish them the very best for the future,’’ Mrs McAlinden added.
Some of the top performing A level students at Our Lady’s Grammar School included: Cliodhna Bradley, Aisling Carragher, Eimear Devlin, Annie Doran, Eimear Doyle, Saoirse Ellis, Ailis Hearty, Emily Hudson, Colleen Jennings, Aoife Jones, Rebecca Kearney, Sara McCamley, Ellen McCann, Lauren McCann, Cliona McCoy, Beth McCreesh, Aoife McDonnell, Fiona McNally and Grainne McNally.
Other top performing students were Roisin Muirhead, Eimear Murphy, Erinn Murphy, Victoria O’Callaghan, Eimear O’Hanlon, Lauren Quinn, Robyn-May Quinn, Emma Rooney, Celine Scott, Hannah Thompson, Katherine Toner and Claire Warburton.
