Jewellery and sum of money taken in local burglary
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the burglary of a residential premises on the New Road area of Tullydonnell, Silverbridge, Newry on Saturday 10th September.
Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Finucane said, “It was reported that between the hours of 7.40pm and 8.15pm, two males gained entry to a residential premises and a number of items including jewellery and a sum of money was stolen.
“The two males were last seen on foot running in the direction on Dundalk.
“We are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact Newtownhamilton Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1366 of 10/09/16.
