Items taken and two cars damaged at Daisy Hill Hospital

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a theft from a car at Daisy Hill Hospital.

car theftSometime between 8pm and 11pm on Monday, 28th March, two cars parked close to each other outside the mental health building at the hospital were damaged.

Two windows of a black Hyundai Getz were smashed and the passenger window of a white Skoda Rapid was broken and a handbag, cash and iphone stolen.

Police would like to hear from anyone who noticed any unusual activity in this area during this time or anyone who has information that may assist their investigation.

Police are also reminding motorists to secure their vehicles when leaving them unattended and remove all valuables or store them out of sight, preferably in the boot of your car.
