Two bikes among items taken in spate of Newry burglaries
Detectives are appealing for information following two shed burglaries that occurred in the Altnaveigh Park area of Newry.
Sometime between the evening of Sunday 6th March and the morning of Monday 7th March, one shed was broken into and two bicycles were stolen.

In the same time frame, a shed was broken into at another house and a drill was stolen.
Police also received a report that an attempt had been made to burgle a shed in the Martins Lane area but nothing was taken in this incident.
Speaking to Newry Times, Detective Constable Mandy Campbell said, “I would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area, or who knows anything about the stolen items, to contact detectives at Ardmore Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
