Excitement builds for Santa’s arrival at Buttercrane, Newry
Christmas Celebrations in Buttercrane kick off with the Santa Parade at 6.30 pm and Christmas lights switch on at 7pm on Thursday 19th November.
Join Santa and his friends Snuffles, Sniffles and Rudy as they arrive by Sleigh at Buttercrane to countdown to the big light switch on with IURFM before he takes up residence in his Ice themed Grotto.
The parade and Santa Float departs from the rear of the Centre and travels up Merchants Quay, on to Monaghan Street and returns via Old Creamery and Cornmarket and will be led by Camlough Brass and Reed Band and joined with lots of favorite children’s characters from Frozen, Mickey Mouse, The Minions as well as Mrs Claus, her elves and Rudy the Reindeer.
Come along and enjoy live musical entertainment and choral singers on mall and take in the atmosphere as Buttercrane celebrates Christmas in the heart of the city.
Santa’s enchanted Ice grotto is a very merry ‘must see’ this Christmas.
