Donnelly congratulates South Armagh Boxing champions

SDLP Councillor Geraldine Donnelly has congratulated local boxers for their achievements at the European Women’s Youth and Junior Boxing Championships in Hungary.

Cllr Donnelly said, “I would like to congratulate Shauna, Orla and Amy on their outstanding achievements in Hungary.

“We should all take great pride in seeing sporting talent like this being nurtured in South Armagh. I would like to wish our local champions all the best in future competitions.

She added, “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Council for organising Friday night’s celebrations in Crossmaglen which allowed us to honour the girl’s wonderful achievements.”
