Local police call for witnesses after ‘creeper burglary’

Local police are appealing for information following a creeper burglary in Killeavy. burglary5Sometime between 11pm on Sunday, 28th June and 8am on Monday, 29th June, entry was gained to a house in Forest Park and vehicle keys taken. A white Citroen Berlingo van, registration YU53 ANY, was subsequently stolen. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Louise Darragh said, “We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to the theft or whereabouts of the van. We can be contacted in Newtownhamilton on 101, quoting ref: 216 290615.” If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
