Firearms and £20,000 of drugs seized by police in Warrenpoint

Police have seized a quantity of Class A, Class B and Class C controlled drugs with an estimated value of £20,000. psni13Two suspected firearms were also discovered following searches at two properties in Warrenpoint yesterday. Detectives from Reactive and Organised Branch in Mahon Road told Newry Times that two 24 year old men have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences and are currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
