Two teenagers and woman arrested after ‘threats to kill’ incident in Newry
Police in Newry have arrested three people following incidents in Parkview Drive on Wednesday, 18th March and Thursday, 19th March.
At around 8.15pm on 18th March police received a report of two men making threats to kill the occupants of a house in Parkview Drive.
Officers attended however the two men had left the area. At 10.20pm police received a report of windows being broken at the same house. Officers attended and two 19 year old men were arrested.
One of the males was charged with AOABH, assault on police, criminal damage, disorderly behaviour, harassment, possession of Class A drugs, resisting police, threats to damage property and threats to kill. He appeared before Banbridge Magistrates’ Court on 19 March.
The second 19 year old was released on bail pending further enquiries.
In a second incident police received a report of a female making threats to the occupants of a house in Parkview Drive on Thursday, 19th March. Officers arrested a 27 year old female for threats to kill. She is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
