Five horses rescued in South Armagh

Police in Crossmaglen have rescued five horses which were abandoned in the Carnally Road area. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Jeremy Dale explained, “We received a report of four horses and one foal abandoned at a yard on Carnally Road. “We seized the horses in relation to welfare issues and Crosskennan Animal Sanctuary have kindly taken care of the animals. He added, “If anyone is interested in rehoming these animals they can make direct contact with the Sanctuary by telephoning 028 94465384 or emailing”
