The meeting will take place in Barcroft Community Centre on Thursday the 25th of September at 7-30pm.

Speaking to Newry Times, Kimmins stated, “Transport NI play a significant role in facilitating the safe and convenient movement of people and goods, which in turn helps address safety and mobility concerns for residents, pedestrians and motorists.

“It is extremely important that as many local residents as possible have their say on the idea of a one way system being introduced, and that any proposal ultimately should have the support of all if possible.

The local Councillor added, “This is a consultation exercise and is open to all residents from the two streets. Anyone wishing to discuss this or any issue with me can contact me at 07840588741.”
