Police investigate Newry burglary

Police in Newry are appealing for information after a report of burglary at a garage at the Carrivekeeney Road.

Sometime between 10pm on Tuesday 8th April and 1pm on Wednesday 9th April, it was reported that a petrol strimmer and a scrambler bike were stolen with a value of £1000.

It is believed that entry was gained at the front of the premises.

Police would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to contact them at Ardmore Police Station on the new non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 650090414.

Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the Independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
