SDLP MLA for Newry and Armagh, Dominic Bradley condemned those behind what he described as a ‘senseless pipe bomb attack on a local home’.
He told Newry Times, “I was distressed to hear that two pipe bombs were thrown at a house in Patrician Park in Newry tonight. This house is in a quiet residential area and this was a senseless attack for which there is absolutely no justification. It could easily have caused injury or death.
“Those behind this attack are enemies of our community and anyone with any information should contact the police immediately,” he added.
