Man requires emergency surgery after Newry assault

Police in Newry are appealing for witnesses to an assault in a nightclub in the Trevor Hill area in the early hours of Sunday 3rd November.

Sometime around 2am a man sustained a serious injury to his eye whilst attempting to break up a fight inside the nightclub.

As a result of the late night injury the man had to undergo emergency surgery. 

Police would ask anyone who witnessed this incident to contact them in Newry on 0845 600 8000.
