Rock band ‘Four Degrees’ will raise the temperature at the Amplified
Belfast based rock band ‘Four Degrees’ will play their first Newry gig this Friday night at the Amplified and promise to raise the temperature with a set of original blasting tunes.
The band, who were formed in April this year, are finalising tracks for a demo of self penned material.
The band have played several shows in Belfast and reached the semi-final of a Battle of the Bands competition in Omagh in June. Whilst the ‘Four degrees’ are based in Belfast they hail from Newry, Warrenpoint and Omagh.
The line up is fronted by Newry rocker Emmet Maguire, former guitarist with local legends ‘Shoot the Freak’, Warrenpoint drummer Eamonn Murphy, Omagh duo Kevy Clarke on bass and Kevin Donnelly on guitar.
The band members are all in their early twenties but their influences straddle over four decades with the Beatles, Oasis, Led Zeppelin, Stereophonics and many more.
