67 year old remanded on drugs charges
A 67 year old man has been remanded in court after answering drugs charges.
Detectives in Banbridge charged the man on Tuesday, 23rd April, with cultivating cannabis, possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply and dishonestly using electricity after finding a DNA match on the Police Database.
The charges relates to the recovery of more than 200 cannabis plants in November 2011 from a property on Ballydrumman Road.
The man appeared at Newry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 24th April, and was remanded to appear by video link on 9th May.
