Plans for 10th Anniversary Claragh Bridge Vintage Show underway

Plans are now already well underway for the forthcoming Claragh Bridge Vintage Club 10th annual cross-community Vintage, Classic and Agricultural show scheduled to take place on Saturday 27th July 2013 from 11.00am at B175 Ballynahinch Road, Drumaroad, outside Castlewellan, County Down.

This year’s 10th anniversary show promises to once again be a popular family day out with a wide range of various types of vehicles, events, competitions, exhibition stands, musical entertainment.

There will also be new attractions, a charity auction plus much more. Once again the old style Blacksmith’s Shop will be open to the public with a full range of traditional Blacksmith tools and equipment.

Entry submissions for all types of classic, vintage and agricultural vehicles can be submitted, and those vehicle entries who would like their vehicle also published in the 2013 show programme are advised to register early by requesting a vehicle entry form from the club Secretary Mrs. Elizabeth Doyle on 028 44 811518, or emailing info@claraghbridge.com

All entries to be submitted by 28th June 2013 to guarantee insertion in 2013 show programme. As in previous years vehicle entries can also still be registered on the day of the show.

Stall holders and stands wishing to also exhibit in either the country market and craft fayre marquee or in show field are also recommended to make an early booking. For further details please telephone 0777 9788771.

The annual one day cross-community event has grown from very humble beginnings back in 2004 to becoming one of the best renowned rural vintage, classic and agricultural shows in County Down and attracts many visitors, trade stands, and entrants from far and wide.

From 2004 to date Claragh Bridge Vintage Club (Ltd) has raised over £37,000 which has been donated to very worthy community, voluntary and charitable causes. They hope that the 10th anniversary show on 27th July 2013 will be no exception and will also be a major success and raise even more money this year.

Claragh Bridge Vintage Club will hold their next committee meeting of the year at the Blacksmith’s Shop, B175 Ballynahinch Road, onWednesday 27th March at 8.30pm. All members are asked to please attend. New members are also very welcome.
