Police rescue ‘distressed’ man from Warrenpoint water
Police officers in Warrenpoint rescued a distressed man from the sea on Sunday morning, 10th March.
At 7.34am police received a report of a man entering the water. Officers attended immediately and found a 21 year old man waist deep in water close to the outdoor swimming pool.
Three officers entered the water and brought the man to safety.
The man was subsequently taken to hospital.
