Curran calls for upgrade of Peter McParland Park
Sinn Féin councillor Brendan Curran, in response to a number of calls received from residents to upgrade the Peter McParland Park on the Barley Lane, has arranged for a Councillors site meeting where concerned residents can also attend to progress the issue further.
Speaking to Newry Times, Curran stated,
“I have arranged for a site meeting at Peter McParland Park. An upgrading to grass or a 3g surface of the current kick about area would bring a new lease of life to both this facility and the entire area.
He added, “Residents would benefit from the park being upgraded as it would provide a much needed usable facility.”
