Fundraising night in Memory of Patrick Dinsmore
On Friday 4th May at 7.30pm, The Patrick Dinsmore Memorial Trust will be holding a fundraising night in the Whistledown Hotel, Warrenpoint. The night will include a quiz followed by a raffle and an auction, with local DJ Kevin Tinnelly providing the night’s entertainment.
The evening will be the first fundraising event for the recently launched Trust, which has been opened in memory of Patrick Dinsmore, who passed away suddenly while playing for his local GAA club on 26th August 2010. The Dinsmore family opened the Trust to raise awareness for SADS, Sudden Adult Death Syndrome, the death of a seemingly fit and healthy young person.
Speaking to Newry Times, Aisling Dinsmore, who is organising the event said, “The support we have received so far has been overwhelming. Local businesses, clubs and members of the community have been showing their support. We hope to raise as much awareness as possible for the trust and encourage people of all ages to come along for what will be a fantastic night.”
Tickets are not required for entry, however there will be a fee at the door of £5.
