Sacred Heart pupils raise money for breast cancer charity
Year 14 pupils from Sacred Heart Grammar school in Newry have donated £200 to local breast cancer charity Pretty ‘n’ Pink, proceeds from the recent school formal organised by the pupils themselves.

The money will be used to help provide financial support and practical services to breast cancer patients and their families across Northern Ireland. A spokesperson for the charity said “We are really grateful to the girls for choosing Pretty n Pink as the nominated charity of their event, and are very impressed with the level of maturity they have shown in helping give something back to the local community.” Further details on the charity can be found at www.prettynpink.org
