Newry students to compete at national money management competition
Students from the Newry campuses of the Southern Regional College joined students from the other campuses in competing in a national competition to discover the most innovative way young students can improve their money management skills.
Two of the campuses were successful and will represent the SRC at the Northern Ireland National Finals next week at Stormont. The Virtual Monopoly team from Newry will join the Lifestyle Supermarket Sweep team from Portadown in taking part on the 17th of April.
The judging panel had to make hard decisions in selecting the final teams having received an overwhelming number of innovative and educational projects.
