In Pictures: Stepping into Spring at Silent Valley
Fun and embracing the season of rebirth, renewal and regrowth were the topics of the day at NI Water’s Silent Valley fun day on Sunday 25th March.
The event had a range of activities which all the family could enjoy such as archery, a petting farm, Mr Hullaballo’s magic show, and clay pigeon shooting to name but a few.
Also featured was the jumping clay workshop, face painting and the various stalls selling jewellery, books and delicious edible goodies. Silent Valley has recently seen upgrades to its car park, visitor centre and a new play park.
The event was a great success, attracting nearly 4000 visitors from across the province.
A similar event was held in March last year which was also a resounding success, attracting visitors from across Northern Ireland and further a field. The themed days give NI Water the opportunity to promote this hidden treasure and boost the reputation of the area as a major tourist attraction.
