Thief arrested in Ravens Glen area

The incident happened in the Ravens Glen area

Police in Newry have arrested a 34 year old male after receiving a report of suspicious activity in the Ravens Glen area. At 9.35pm on Thursday, 15th March, police received a report of a male in dark clothing peering into house windows. Officers attended the scene and a 34 year old man was arrested for going equipped for burglary and vehicle tampering. A quantity of tools were also recovered. The man was subsequently arrested in relation to a number of other recent burglaries in the area. He is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
