Newry Times Style Section officially launched
As the fashion weeks of London, New York and Paris rapidly approach it is easy to find fashion a very distant concept, especially in Northern Ireland. However, events such Belfast Fashion Week and even more locally Newry Style City, Quays Next Top Model and Miss Armagh, Miss Down prove that Newry has as much to offer to the dedicated followers of fashion in the Newry and Mourne area.
The Newry Times is also mindful that a lot of our readers are very aware of what it takes to have a good sense of style and fashion and we have brought this to you previously with our feature “Fashion Fix”. We are always trying to expand and diversify what we bring to the Newry Times readership and we are delighted to be launching our newest feature, the Newry Times Style Section, which we are all very excited about.
With the Newry Times Style Section we will be bringing our readers all the very latest fashion, beauty news, trends and local events that keep our readers up to date, in style and ahead of the crowd. As with all our work in Newry Times, your suggestions are very welcome, we strive to always cater to everyone’s taste. We welcome anyone who feels they may have something to contribute to our new style section, and we look forward to hearing from you.
Our opening theme of the style section is of course Valentine’s Day, it is just around the corner and it’s a day that often divides public opinion. We have took to the streets to ask the people of Newry what they think of what is supposed to be the most romantic day of the year, check out our “Have Your Say” section to see what they said. We also have our first beauty column from our beauty expert Grace Brown. Grace is beginning her column with a look at how to prepare yourself for Valentine’s Day by telling us how to get the perfect tan, and keeping your make-up simple.
We are looking forward to bringing a new stylish edge to the Newry Times, and we hope you enjoy the new exciting features that will be appearing in the coming months.
