Information needed following robbery in city centre

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following the report of a robbery in the John Martin Street area on Monday 2nd January. At approximately 8pm a male in his late teens was assaulted by a group of men and had his mobile phone stolen. He is believed to have suffered minor injuries. Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact them at CID in Ardmore on 0845 600 8000.
