Newry & Armagh Young Unionists launch new Constituency Association

young-unionists-launch-photographNewry & Armagh Young Unionists have officially launched a new Constituency Association at an event held in Glenanne Orange Hall recently.

Members of the new Association were very encouraged by the number of young people who attended the event.

They stated it was great to see so many expressing a strong desire to become actively involved with the Ulster Unionist Party, commenting that it sent out a positive message locally about the future prospects for the Party in Newry & Armagh.

Local Ulster Unionist representatives including Danny Kennedy MLA, Alderman Jim Speers, Cllrs Gordon Kennedy, David Taylor and Sam Nicholson and MEP Jim Nicholson attended the launch.

october-2016They took the opportunity to engage in political discussion with the young people present and shared with them their experiences of serving in public life.
