Man injured in Newry assault and robbery
Police in Newry are appealing for information following an assault and robbery.
At around 10pm on Saturday, 9th April, a 31 year old male was walking from Commons Way towards Toragh Park when he was approached by three males.
The men demanded money and struck him on the back of the head a number of times before he fell to the ground.
They then stole a sum of cash before making off.
All three males are believed to be in their 30s and were clean shaven. The first male is around 5ft 9in tall, of medium build with dark coloured hair and was wearing a grey hoodie.
The second male is around 5ft 9in tall, of medium build with coloured hair and was wearing dark blue jeans and a black bomber style coat.

The third male is around 5ft 6in tall, of stocky build with a tanned complexion and fair coloured shaved head and was wearing a light coloured top.
The 31 year old man sustained injuries to his head which required medical treatment.
