Buttercrane appoints nominated charities

Following the launch of Buttercrane’s Nominated Charity Scheme, three local organisations have been appointed as charitable partners; the Samaritans, PIPS and The Michaela Foundation.

Buttercrane 05These three charity partners will work with Buttercrane in 2015/16 to enhance awareness, stage events and grow their fundraising capacity.

Speaking to Newry Times, Peter Murray, Centre Manager said, “This year we had double the applications from the previous year.

“Choosing just one charity proved a difficult task – especially given the important services that each of these organisations provide to our local community.

“We’re delighted to be able to support these three wonderful organisations – Samaritans, PIPS and Michaela Foundation.”

Upcoming events include Samaritans 24/7 celebrations on 24th July; PIPS Not So Strictly Matinee (June) and Michaela Foundation Back to College event (Sept).
