Witnesses sought after Newry fire

Police in Newry are appealing for information after a trailer was set on fire.

Constable Keith McComb, Newry Response, explained, “Some time between 11pm on Tuesday, 9th September and 9.45am on Wednesday, 10th September, an exhibition trailer at transport premises on Chancellor’s Road was set alight. The trailer was completely burnt out.

He added, “I am asking anyone who noticed any activity around the premises or has information in relation to this incident to contact us in Newry on the 101 number.”
