‘Hear to inform’ event in Newry

Are you over 55? Do you have a hearing loss or know someone who does?

You may find communicating with friends and family can be difficult. Even everyday activities like shopping can leave you feeling left out and isolated.

People with hearing loss can also be at a disadvantage when it comes to hearing smoke alarms, telephones and doorbells.

Action on Hearing Loss are pleased to invite you to attend their ‘Hear to Inform’ day on Wednesday 24th September from 10.30am – 3pm in Ballybot House, 28 Cornmarket, Newry BT35 8BG.

The NI Fire and Rescue Service, PSNI and Southern Health and Social Care Trust will also be on hand to talk about their services and how these extend to those with hearing loss.

Hearing checks and hearing aid support will also be available on the day and a light lunch will be provided. An induction loop, electronic note taker and BSL interpreter will also be available. Find out how they can help you!

Please note, this event is Big Lottery funded and completely free of charge.
