Daisy Hill Hospital incident: Reports of flood
Newry Sinn Fein MLA Liz Kimmins has said there is currently a flooding issue at Daisy Hill Hospital.
The local MLA said she had been contacted by people about the incident today.
She told Newry Times, “I have had a few people contacting me.
“They are hearing mixed reports about an incident at Daisy Hill.”
Kimmins said she then spoke with hospital staff.
“I have spoken to staff and it has been confirmed there was a flooding issue in the donning area of the hospital.
“This is currently being addressed,” she continued.
“The donning area is temporarily relocated.”
