Bessbrook home latest to be robbed

A home in Church View, Bessbrook has become what local Councillor Roisin Mulgrew has said is ‘the latest target’ in a spate of robberies by “selfish criminals on our residents and their properties”.

The Sinn Féin Councillor said, “Another family home has been forcibly entered, ransacked and robbed.

“The criminal gangs carrying these attacks on residents and their properties seem to feel that they can get away with these dastardly acts without any fear of apprehension.

 

 

“I again appeal to all to be vigilant and be alert for suspicious activities.

“Anyone who observes anything suspicious should immediately contact the Police.”

 

 

The Sinn Féin representative added, “It is imperative that those engaged in these criminal acts are apprehended and they should face the full rigours of the law for the damage both materially and emotionally that they are inflicting on people.

“I expect the Police to ensure that they are fully resourced to tackle and stop these gangs.”
