Money and jewellery taken during Newry burglary

Detectives in Ardmore are appealing for witnesses following a burglary of a house.

The incident took place on the Manse Road, Newry.

Speaking to Newry Times, Detective Constable Brannigan said, “It was reported that sometime between 7.30pm and 10.10pm on Saturday 12 October entry was gained to the house.

 

 

“A quantity of jewellery and a sum of money were stolen.

“We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives at Ardmore station on 101 quoting reference number 1953 of 12/10/19.

 

 

“Or, if someone would refer to provide information without diving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111,” Detective Constable Brannigan  added.
