The Northern Ireland eCommerce Awards were founded by entrepreneur and experienced digital marketing professional Kevin Traynor following the successful launch of eComm Live, Northern Ireland’s first e-commerce conference which ran in Belfast in May 2019.
Kevin told Newry Times, “Following the success of eComm Live, we recognised the lack of support for those growing number of businesses selling online in Northern Ireland and the need for greater resources to ensure those numbers grow.
“The Northern Ireland eCommerce Awards aims to acknowledge excellence and good practice within the industry.
“Online commerce is becoming an essential part of our day to day lives and those businesses putting Northern Ireland on the map should be recognised for their innovation and ambition in a competitive marketplace.
He added, “We want to provide businesses with the occasion to celebrate their success and continue to push the industry in the right direction.”
The event will be hosted by presenter Claire McCollum and comedian and presenter Andrew Ryan.
Entries close at 12 noon on Monday 16 September, with judging taking place on Friday 20 September 2019.
Shortlisted entries will be announced on Monday 23 September 2019.
