Police at Ardmore are appealing for help in locating an orange KNK Petrol Strimmer.

It was stolen from a shed in the Shandon Park area of Newry between the evening of Saturday 18th November 2017 and the morning of Sunday 19th November.

Police are following a line of enquiry that Social Media sites were used to advertise and sell this item.

A spokesperson said, “Did you or do you know someone that may have purchased an orange KNK Strimmer in the days after the 19th November? Did you reply to an advertisement on Social media about this make and model of equipment?

“If you have any information relating to this please contact 101 and quote the reference number 584 19/11/17.”
