Free health checks and advice as part of ‘Men’s Health Week’

The Southern Health and Social Care Trust is running a number of free events to encourage males to engage in healthier active lifestyles as part of Men’s Health Week (12-18 June 2017).

Events include a ‘Trash the Ash’ Free Quit Smoking advice and Lung Age Testing on Monday 12th June from 9.30am-4pm at the Health and Wellbeing Hub Craigavon Area Hospital
and on Tuesday 13th June from 9.30am-4pm at Daisy Hill Hospital Main Foyer.

A Men’s Health Event will be held on Monday 12th June from 11-4pm at South Tyrone Men’s Shed Dungannon and a Men’s ‘Have Your Say’ Helping to plan, develop and shape services takes place on Tuesday 13th June from 11am-1pm at the Health and Wellbeing Hub in Craigavon Area Hospital.

Go For It March 2017

A Sun Safe Workshop with Traveller men and Traveller Support Workers takes place on Tuesday 13th June from 11am – 12.30pm at Moylinn House and a Free Health Check for Men, Wednesday 14th June from 10am – 5pm at the Health and Wellbeing Hub, Craigavon Area Hospital.

Additionally, a Mental Health Forum takes place on Thursday 15th June all day at the Health and Wellbeing Hub, Craigavon Area Hospital and Men Overcoming Cancer takes place on Friday 16th June all day at the Macmillan Information Centre Craigavon Area Hospital.
