Kerry told Newry Times, “It’s a great feeling to be back at the Grand Opera House and with such a wonderful show. Me and My Girl is a real feel-good musical full of singalong songs like Leaning on a Lampost, the Sun Has Got His Hat On and Lambeth Walk.

Completing the Newry contingent onstage is rising talent Ciaran McCormack. Ciarán is part of the show’s electrifying dance troupe but he’s no stranger to the spotlight, having played the lead in a production of Footloose at the Waterfront Hall earlier this year.

The Newry connection doesn’t stop there however as the whole show is actually being choreographed by award winning local choreographer Anne Marie Morgan.
