‘Heartless thieves’ ransack Camlough home

burglary9Sinn Féin Councillor Roisin Mulgrew has said that news of burglary at another house in the Camlough area was deeply disturbing. A home in the Quarter Road area was entered by thieves on Monday evening. “This is deeply disturbing news, another family plunged into fear and anger as they discover their home has been robbed and ransacked,” she told Newry Times.

30th-nov-2016-small-box“The fact that it is only five days before Christmas has compounded this dastardly act even further,” said the local Councillor, who visited the victims of the robbery to offer them support. “What this has shown is that we as a community need to be ever alert. Those engaged in these criminal activities care nothing about anything but themselves.
