psni30The Moyad Road, Newry, has been closed between the gatekeeper’s lodge and the Bryansford Road at its junction with the Slievenaman Road. It follows a serious one vehicle road traffic collision that occurred just before 11.30pm on Tuesday 25th October. A woman aged in her 20s has been taken to hospital for treatment to her injuries. Her injuries are believed to be serious but not life threatening.

Motorists are reminded to not use the road at this time. A notification will be issued when the road re-opens. UPDATE AT 17:00: The Moyad Road in Kilkeel has reopened to traffic following a serious one-vehicle collision last night, Tuesday 25th October.
