Chip van, hoovers and power washers taken in spate of Newry burglaries

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following the reports of several burglaries of commercial premises on the Newry Road, Warrenpoint and Newry Road, Camlough.

psni13Sometime between 10.00pm on Sunday 21st August and 9.00am on Monday 22nd August entry was gained to several premises.

A number of hoovers, power washers and a chip van were stolen.

The chip van was later found abandoned on the School Road, Forkhill.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the mentioned areas or have any information regarding the incidents or anyone who may have been offered similar items for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact detectives at Ardmore Police Station on 101, quoting reference 174 on 22/08/16.
