Sinn Féin South Down MLA Caitríona Ruane has welcomed the visit of Finance Minister Maírtín Ó Muilleoir to Warrenpoint recently to meet with the Narrow Water Bridge community network. narrow water visitRuane, who had invited the Minister to visit the bridge site, said she was delighted that he was able to meet the group so early in his term. She told Newry Times, “The group made a presentation to the Minister about the strategic importance of the bridge to tourism and the economy of South Down and North Louth. “He was informed about the strong support for the project throughout the area and how long we have been campaigning for the bridge.
