Sinn Fein Councillor Terry Hearty is urging any local groups or individuals hoping to benefit from the Rural Development Partnership to attend one of the upcoming mandatory workshops on the programme. hearty1“The Rural Development Programme offers a wealth of opportunities to community groups and voluntary organisations and I would urge them all to get involved,” he told Newry Times. “If you are seeking to get involved these workshops are mandatory so it is crucial people sign up for them and get all the information they need. “The South Armagh workshop is taking place in Mullaghbawn Community Centre on Tuesday, June 14th from 10am to Noon and 7pm to 9pm. “I really want to stress how important it is that anybody hoping to benefit from the Rural Development Programme take part in these workshops.
