Murphy welcomes improved qualifications of school leavers

Sinn Féin MLA Conor Murphy has welcomed the increase in qualifications among school leavers. Conor Murphy“The figures published show the significant increase in the number of school leavers achieving at least five GCSEs at grades A*- C,” Murpy stated. “It is particularly welcome that attainment rose among pupils in receipt of free school meals. This is a direct result of Sinn Féin ministers investing in education and tackling disadvantage. “These increases are welcome and show just what successive Sinn Féin education ministers delivered in terms of improving education attainment and our education system generally.
