Calling all 14 to 17 year olds! Do you have an interest in the environment? gullion28Would you like to give something back to the local area and have fun doing it? Then we have the programme for you. An exciting two-week volunteer Youth Rangers programme will be running from 18th July to 29th July (excluding the weekend). It is a fantastic opportunity for you to get out and explore the Ring of Gullion during your summer holidays. Slieve Gullion Forest Park will be used as a central drop-off and collection point, but each day will take you to a different part of the Ring of Gullion area. You will have the opportunity to learn first aid, zombie apocalypse survival skills, canoeing, practical conservation skills and much more. All that is asked from you in return is your enthusiasm and a willingness to participate in the programme. The programme is being run by the Ring of Gullion Landscape Parntership, part funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, and delivered by Life Adventure.
